Lancashire County Cricket Club are also based in the city. There is also a huge music tradition in Manchester with bands like The Smiths, the Buzzcocks, Joy Division, The Fall, New Order, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Oasis, Doves, Bee Gees and Take That all coming from the area.
